Bricked my P8P67-M Pro with Bios Update!

Thread Starter
So, I think everything was running fine. I had Windows installed no problem. No memory issues. It did seem like the OC settings in EUFI didn't look like the ones in all the posts so I decided to update the BIOS to 0413. Used the update utility in the UEFI and it said that it completed successfully. But when it rebooted, it hung. The funny thing is how it hangs. Two different things happen. I have done all the usual including Clear RTC, pull the battery and CRTC. I have even held the power button down for 10 seconds while doing all of that. Turned the TPU switch off. I moved the memory to Slot A2 and B2 etc. Done all that and here is what it does.
Scenario 1: Hit power button, it shows the Asus splash screen and says "Hold escape to enter BIOS" pushing escape or not it keeps going. It then loads the Marvel Controller. Then it goes back to the Asus splash and that is as far as it gets. Just sits. Pressing power button once kills it.
Scenario 2: Hit power button, Asus splash comes up, clicking Esc does nothing, then the BIOS password comes up. Yes, I know, I cleared the BIOS! Anyway, put in the bios password (yes it does recognize the right one because putting in a wrong one gets an error), then I get the Marvell controller, then screen goes blank and that is as far as it gets. Shutdown requires 5 second hold on Power button.

Now, scenario 2 tells me that it may be the Intel SATA controller because this is where its screen is supposed to flash for a few seconds. Not sure what what Scenario 1 says but either way, I don't know what else to do. I can't get to EUFI to flash a different bios. I am going to call Asus on Monday. I suppose I will just have to RMA the board to Newegg early maybe. I would like to hear anyone's ideas.

Stephen

seems like your dual BIOS isn't kicking in. If you can read the BIOS chip on your board and tell me exactly what one of the chips says(they should be identical) I can look it up and find out what pins to short so that the backup kicks in. Of course you will need to find out which BIOS is the main and which is the backup, usually 100% of the time the board says M next to one and the other says B or one says 1 and the other says 2.

If you want my help take a close up macro picture of the BIOS chips so that i can read what is written on them. It will probably be along the lines of MX XXXX.

Edit: NVM i don't think your board has a backup BIOS.

But you do have crashfree BIOS 3 idk how well it will work:
