Good or Bad?

Is having eist or c-state good or bad for an overclocked processor at 4.1ghz. I have a i7 950?

I always disable them, but its no worry to have them on!
I like my cpu to be full speed all the time.

They ramp back up pretty instantly so its fine to have them enabled, it lowers your voltage depending on CPU load which theoretically prolongs the life of the chip and also saves a little bit of power. If you find you're stable with EIST/Cx disabled and then unstable with them enabled you may need a notch or two bump in voltage.
