Here's an idea why don't you start downloading random demos, oh no wait we don't get demos anymore sorry.
I did enjoy mafia 2 which the latest game I played its kind of short but I would that quality over quantity any day.

Graphically speaking, I think Batman: AA and Just Cause 2 own them both, and that's why I haven't bothered with them.

So with that being said, I'd surely say Just Cause 2. You can do all kinds of stuff in it, the actual story line stuff is a bit short, but there are plenty of other things to do that makes this game worthwhile. In case if you're wondering, I have about 54 hours on the game, and I've had it for about 6 months. I don't play it every single day, but I do when I just want to blow stuff up and look at the amazing visuals. biggrin.gif

They have a demo you can try out too. I recommend you do that.

Just saw that you added a poll, and it doesn't have JC2 in it. frown.gif

I'm saying Batman: AA in that case. Visually speaking, it's just too stunning. smile.gif

6 votes already for Arkham? =P

Time to start finding that 'Assassin Creed Fans' thread and start messaging some folks to come in this thread !

Arkham Asylum was absolutely terrific, and the dark atmosphere pretty much carried its own weight and every single minute you played - you felt if you were the batman himself. Even tho the boss battle was a bit anti-climatic, i still give Arkham a 10/10

But Assassin Creed 2 was a masterpiece IMO. The best sequel in gaming history with everything done right. The way the game progressed was absolutely astonishing. You don't really need to play the first one to understand the second one, but it still does help in certain scenes.

GTA IV is awesome too. Damn, OP has to make a really hard decision. I'm glad I'm not the one in his shoes:D

edit: nooooooo, don't take AC2 out. Put Just Cause 2 up as a choice, but leave AC2 still as an option.

Batman fo sho. Rest of the games are terrible. Ill never play another game thats combat oriented designed by Ubisoft. Their horrible. They need to let team ninja show them. GTA4? nah why play that when you could play FO3 and run around post apocalyptic america.

BMAA, Assassins Creed 2, and Just Cause 2 are all very good games, I loved all three.

AC2 is probably technically the 'longest' (and arguably 'the best'), but the easiest one to just pick up and start playing whenever is JC2, for a variety of reasons. BMAA is great but it's not all that long, for me it was a 'play through once' kinda game, but there is stuff to go back and do after you beat it.

My favorite game to revisit when I'm bored with other stuff is Kings Bounty Crossworlds. It's seemingly an endless game, it's all point and click and requires no coordination (IOW you don't have to relearn the controls), and it'll even run on my craptastic laptop. And it's quite addictive once you learn the ins and outs of it.

If you played the demo of JC2, and you like/loved it (as I did), then it's a no-brainer ... get the game. For some reason some people adamantly hate that game, but I thought it was great fun, and in many regards (not all) the best looking game I've ever seen ... particularly for how well it runs. It's certainly the largest game-world I've ever seen, by a large margin ...
