Writing alot back to back puts Sandforce controllers into "protection mode" to keep themselves from being killed by a ton of large writes back to back like that.(Mostly for uncompressable data, such as done by benchmark programs.)

My benchmarks look worse than the one in the OP. It has been about a week since I ran a benchmark on it. I just ran crystaldiskmark again and it's about the same, slightly better reads 4kqd32 improved but all the write speeds are in the 40
I did run atto which was mostly around 250's but still CDM is insanely low. Here are the benchmarks. The CDM with higher reads was after about a week without any benchmarks.
