Single 28" monitor vs 3 20 inch monitors

Thread Starter
So I found this awesome deal for 3 of these for $200 shipped(all 3 for $200 shipped). I was already planning on buying a $260 28 inch 1920x1200 monitor, but this changes everything...

Which would be better for gaming? I might be able to get the seller to go down $30.00 or so and I can use the extra $90.00 to start saving for a much need 5970(It would be needed at 4800x900).

I would say 3 monitors. I went from a 28in which is the hanns g which has problems and went to 3 monitors which are old and not match but works perfect which is 2x 19ins 1440s and one dell ips 20.1in 1680x1050 monitor which i have in the middle and i wont go back to single monitor

I got the 28in on top of the 3 monitors for monitoring apps.

I also play pretty much every game with my 5870 on 4320x900res but some games like crysis i have too run on the 2nd highest option but plays pretty nice.

Ony thing tho some games wont 100% or not support them at all which does get me mad..

I was thinking of getting another big monitor but i dont think i could do with the lower res than 4320x900 and all the desktop space

I do like to get 3 matched lcds tho maybe ips but would be inexpensive ..
