With the news about Asus and Gigabyte shipping their new B3 stepping MB's, this build is now closer than ever. I'm therefore reviving the thread.

I've only changed the RAM:

$300 - i5-2500K
$200 - ASUS P8P67
$70 - 4 GB Mushkin 1333 MHz 1.5V
$125 - XFX Core Edition 750W
$70 - Prolimatech Megahalems

Anything I should change? The RAM frequency is irrelevant for i5 OC'ing, right?

and i would go with a better quallity psu, as a high q 500w is waaayy better than a crap 800.
also whats your gpu? i dont think you need a 750 for a single gpu, a 650 can handle a decent sli with headroom after ocing. and the CM Hyper 212+ in my oppinion is the best q/price. in the us its 30, your $70 is $50 here, so you save some cash.
212+ sucks, stop worshiping it as the god-of-all-coolers. NH-D14 and Silver Arrow easily slaps it.

I don't think the Megahalems comes with any fans, so you'll want to look into getting at least one of those. Not sure what to recommend though.

The 212+ is only a good buy because it's $30 here. I didn't find it on that website he uses so it's a moot point. The Megahalems is plenty good.

I have heard that having 1333 CL9 RAM will negatively impact your OC, but I don't know enough about RAM to say for certain.

Thanks, that's interesting. I'll look around for more info on that.

Bump, anything I should change?

EDIT:
I've decided not to get a new PSU. The 550W should do fine AFAIK.

$300 - i5-2500K
$200 - ASUS P8P67
$70 - 4 GB Mushkin 1333 MHz 1.5V
$70 - Prolimatech Megahalems
