<<< Very happy 60D user here. I've also been using the 50 1.8 exclusively (until I have money for a lens that costs more than $100 )

Here's an ISO6400 shot to give you an idea of the high ISO performance of the 60D:

IMG_1396 by ejackso1, on Flickr

This particular room of the auto show was really dark, so even at 1.8 it took a really high ISO to get a good shot. I was bumping it up little by little trying to get a good shot (I always shoot in Manual), but my Sister was starting to complain about posing, so I just bumped it all the way up to 6400 and snapped.

Edit: I guess this post was unnecessary, because I see you've already ordered a 60D and 50 1.4, I hope you enjoy them!

Woah, that's pretty good ISO performance!
Post anything you'd like to get me more excited for my camera!

I think it covers most things that I do. I would strongly recommend the 17-55 for your main lens. The 2.8 and IS really makes a lot of difference and takes really sharp pictures.
Big time +1. I used the 17-55/2.8 IS on a few different crop bodies and it's a fantastic lens.

How much do they go for used?
They hold their value really well I'm afraid, though on POTN I occasionally see them dip into the $800 range, and they are quickly snapped up.

Here's one for $900, and here's another that sold for $850, so if you keep a lookout, you can find a good deal. Note: you'll need to register at POTN to see these links.
