Forcing AA

Thread Starter
I tried forcing 64x AA in crysis warhead for fun and it seems forcing any amount of AA doesn't work at all. Its still looks as it would with no AA on. I tried "enhance the apps AA" and "override" but neither worked. So is their no way to get higher than x16Q.

I would believe that the game would have to support that amount AA, sometimes forcing the AA can actually make the game slow to a crawl, happened with TFU2 for me.

Im no expert, so take what I say with a grain of salt

This. Leave it at 16x.

AA only works in Crysis when you set it in-game. Using NVCP to force AA doesn't work. This is true with MANY games, just for future reference

Also, 64xAA is 'SLI AA', which basically means that instead of running SLI proper, you are using 1 card for rendering, and the 2nd card just does the AA.

Using SLI AA is only advisable on games where you have no regular SLI support (like something really old, typically) but you want to get some benefit out of the 2nd card you've bought, so you dedicate it to AA.

this is not related to my original question but i don't want to start another new thread. In EVGA e-leet one of my cards says it is at .97500 volts at default the other it says .95000. They are the same model though and both from EVGA so why is one running at a lower voltage?
