GTX 560 on a 450vx??

Can I run a gtx 560 + unlocked phenom II x4 B50 on a Corsair 450vx? It is just like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-003-_-Product

I don´t plan to do SLI nor overclock de GPU. I have my cpu overclocked to 3.6 Ghz, but if I have to choose between buying a new PSU or lowering my clocks I´d rather stay at stock speeds.

I dont think that psu will have enough power.

It will work fine. Corsair PSU's can handle there rated wattage very well. You will be cutting it thin. I would recommend you buy a new PSU as soon as you get the cash.

For the meantime, you'll be fine, good sir.

I would try it if you already have that psu, you'll need a molex to pci-E 6pin adapter though as the vx450 has only one cable for the card.

Otherwise buy a psu with atleast two 6pin pci-E cables.

It will run fine. GTX560 is not particularly power hungry.

That's because you're right

The VX450 will run a Phenom II + GTX 560 setup just fine, provided you don't have a zillion hard drives and/or fans.

Thanks for your replies!!! I already have the PSU, bought it used for a really good price. I only have 1 HDD, 4 fans (3 from my HAF 922 case, 1 from the Scythe Mugen 2) and a DVD burner.

I´ll buy a new PSU if I have to, but I´d rather spend that money on something else, like an SSD.

You'll be fine.
