And here it is -

Sizing reference

I figured it'll take a few days for the mouse feet to break into the mousepad in order to get the perfect glide, but thus far I'm quite happy with it.

I'm anxious on getting mine but i should forget about tracking it, seems like time goes slower and I get more anxious each time

plus the customs on my country will hold it a lot more than the shipping time

Thread Starter
the G700 looks very slick, i wish they made a wired version for less money. I hate wireless things unless i need to sit really far away from the computer for some reason, which i dont.

Well, got mine in and messed around with it for about 30 or odd so minutes.

So far, I do like that I'm able to make faster and more consistent flicks with rather good control, although the surface hasn't 100% sold me in comparison to the traditional cloth pad. Just feels weird, but it may take some time for me to adjust. I know for a fact I can lower my in game sensitivity just a hair.

Borrowed my old G500 that I sold to a friend and it seems that the hard version and possibly soft work with the Avago ADNS-9500. The only problem I saw was the slight pos acceleration inherit to the sensor. Retested the Qck and Talent and lost perfect control well before 2m/s (neg accel)

Edit: I forgot to add that the Deathadder has a ridiculously high LoD of 5-6mm on this surface without the tape fix.

I'll either do a full review, or continue adding to this thread.

Hey Skylit, do you have any opinions on the Roccat Alumic? It's supposed to come out at the end of this month. It seems to borrow from Razer about having a speed side and a control side, but the base surface material is anodized aluminum. Is this supposed to compete with the Razer Ironclad and Steelseries SX?

I was thinking about the KAI.g3 Hard, but I don't see it on their eBay store.

Imho the surface/coating isn't aluminium, it just has an aluminium core, just like the Razer Exactmat.

I typically don't like hard/minimal friction surfaces or go into much detail researching them, but I will say that I am starting to enjoy the Kai.g3 even though the fiction feels quite low for a cloth surface.

It is quite jarring at first. Personally, I got sick of the sluggishness of regular cloth pads. And I didn't want to get a hard pad for the same reasons you've listed, not to mention they wreck mouse feet.

I feel like this is the perfect compromise. I definitely had to lower my sensitivity quite a bit for this. I went down about 400 DPI for general usage and about 500 for gaming.

Well TBH.. I still like the fiction and control my other pads produce, although this one is going to need more than a couple weeks of use and testing before I can make my decision.

The SS QcK/Raindrop XL+ Hyperglides (Lower friction Teflon feet) and Puretrak Talent/Goliathus Control + Perfect Glides (moderate friction Teflon feet) seem to be my current preference, although that can change if I grow accustom to this pad.
