I am not eligible for the GPU as I had no idea what "folding" was until 15 minutes ago. In addition to being noble, the goals of this project strike very close to home for me. I have a couple old computers that I am going to press into service within the week. I aim to have ten up by the end of the year.

i don't deserve any of the cards actually since i do have 5850, but it is pretty lame for folding, so lately i barely fold with it anymore (i really miss my 8800 now)
if i would get one of those cards i'd dedicate it to folding, that's all i can say
proof of me folding for ocn is under sig rig (chimp challenge participant and foldathon participant)

oh I also forget to add, my Power supply has a TON of PCI-E and 8pin connectors that are currently not needed, I would use to put them to use

Dear Folding Focus Group,

If I were to receive one of these awesome folding GPUs I would add it to determined but limited folding "farm." My current farm consists of an old P4, 3 cores of my Q6600, and my HD4850. My farm run as close to 24/7 as I can take it*. I would love to add one of these cards to my little farm, perhaps I could even break a million points this year with one of these! My next GPU upgrade will most likely be to a Fermi card to add to my folding power, but unfortunately that upgrade most likely won't come until I graduate from engineering in a year and a half (starving university student, etc, etc). I do have enough power and PCIe slots for one of these and would be more than happy to overclock the stink out of it and fold it all day long.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
metro

My EOC Stats: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...hp?s=&u=486981

*You may notice that my farm didn't run last week as I was out of town and I was having some stability issues and chose not to run it.

YAY!

Just thought I'd say that this thread has inspired me to start folding to contribute whatever I can to the cause. After nearly 3 days of 24/7 folding on my lowly Athlon II X2 I finally completed my first WU overnight!

Thanks for the support I received from several members here. You know who you are, and thank you again to those who have donated to this giveaway.
