Yup... we're hoping to get into 4th by the beginning of March; current estimates are the 27th of Feb, but we'll need to keep up our PPD for that to happen.

Well with a new GTS 450 in I'm going to be snatching some extra PPD over my previous 250, and the x6 would fold as well I'll be getting started this afternoon when I get home from school. Besides, it's going to be a really cold day tomorrow here (-6, freezing for a Vancouverite) and the house could use some extra heat

So that portable plug-into-wall space heater over there at the corner of the room consumes 1500W... Max my build will consume: 500W? CPU + GPU... I'm actually saving on my energy bill too by folding
Anyways now that I've been able to get this missing cudart.dll fixed (couldn't do so before school today), I'm crunching numbers! :whee: at the stock 810 core/1620Mhz shader, a 1348 point 6801 is giving me a fair 8k PPD, somewhat above average actually according to the database I can't wait to overclock this baby and max out PPD, but I wanna get some VRM heatsinks first before I do any of that

Nice! By middle of next week I should have basically my sig rig folding 24/7 with an additional GTS450 and a 216 260.

I will prob have my new 2500k and 580 folding when I'm not on them as well. Hopefully I should get some serious PPD...

I'm considering taking my dad's comp and having it fold also (Athlon II x4, should get a somewhat decent PPD count) however since he runs intensive tasks on it and probably wouldn't know how to stop Folding@Home, I may not do this, it might hamper his work. I'm getting a 9600GT soon that I'm throwing in an HTPC (though it's currently served by a P4 sadly), I think I might do some extra crunching there.

My schools also have E8400s in some computers..... I've always wanted to do what everyone wants here by pulling off a surprise foldathon from within my school.... but I have no idea how I could configure them to fold 24/7 since the hard drives get reset every night (i.e. I copy portable firefox to C:\\ hard drive so it runs faster, but gone the next day)

I am considering to configure some of the PCs on a company to fold to OCN as i am doing their maintenance, but i'm not sure if it will be worth it. Most of them are on for 1o hours a day, others stay on 24/7, but the major problem is that they are P4s mainly. Will it be worthy? What do you guys think?

Goddamn... I had a PM with a set of instructions on how to do that, but that was before I emptied my inbox, so the link doesn't work.

<100 PPD per CPU, but still, if you've got enough of them you'll be getting a stead stream of small WUs.
