need help with gpu upgrade

Thread Starter
ok so ive got a budget of around £150 to upgrade my graphics and im a bit stuck on which to go for? i wanna stick with nvidia as thats what ive always used with no problems but i need more power as my 2 old 8600gt's only let me run bc2 on medium on a good day and most of the time im on low settings
i notice alot of ppl have the gtx460 and it is in my price range so if i got one of these added to my pc would i be able to run my games on high setting nice n smoothly or am i looking at having to get something more expensive?
i recently got metro 2033 after seeing vids of it on youtube looking great but i can barely even play it on low settings
also would i need a bigger psu?
any help welcomed guys!

cheers
ishy

If you could spend the extra, "£35" I would get this, XFX ATI Radeon HD 6870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE AVP, Stalker, CODMW2 Games & 3D Mark 2011

ATi > NVIDIA when it comes to BC2. If your not willing to spend the extra, you can get this MSI ATI Radeon HD 5850 Twin FrozR II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card this will outperform a GTX460 1GB in most games, and with same clocks of a 5870, "850/1200" it will only be 3% slower, but most 5850's do more then that anyways, so you can surpass the 5870 @ stock speeds.
