Kernel-Processor-Power Event error and Corrupt Files?

Thread Starter
Over the past year I have been dealing with occasional corrupt files on my I7 system. Nothing Chkdsk /r couldn't fix. So I backed off of my overclock and still experienced issues on occasion. Hard drive scans show no bad sectors with WD Data Lifeguard Extended tests (then and now). I recently had my OCZ 1600 2GBx3 kit fail memtest runs horribly and thus replaced with the current Mushkin kit.

At time of memory replacement I reformatted the OS drive and ran a fresh install. Tested the new ram on stock settings with memtest for a pass and no errors. I am going to run memtest again as I did have my machine overclocked 24/7 to 3.6Ghz (19x190) (memory has always been 1600 or less with rated timings) for this last two weeks. I also ran prime95 for an hour with no errors (ran for 6.5 hours at 3.8 with no errors before OCZ kit showed signs of failure, 20 passes of Linx without error as well).

I also have the following AHCI features enabled; Stagger Spin-up Support, Mechanical Presence Switch Detect (?), and Hotplug Capable Port, and Cold Presence Detection. Stagger Spin-up seems to help with the OS detecting the other hard drives while resuming from sleep. I also have the latest Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver and utility installed.

Thoughts, Stress Run results, and Error log posted below:

I allow my machine to sleep all night and day and then resume for use two or three times each evening (not interested in running 24/7, like to save electricity).

I am beginning to wonder (if all memory and cpu tests pass) if my issue is related to having S1&S3 sleep enabled, and/or if it may be related to AHCI settings/drivers.

I will post this at the EVGA forums as well. There has been recent discussion on a bios mod and official release that includes updates for X58 boards to include RAID ROM version 8.5.0.1030. Not sure if this will improve AHCI functions.
