Did you check the previous validation I posted? Is that what you meant? I didn't try running Prime95 but I am using the PC now normally.

Yeah, I said 400Mhz, not 333Mhz.

Sorry for being annoying. Thanks. I shall try again.

1.5-1.6 volts is retarded unless you have water cooling and don't care about shortening the life of your processor and possibly damaging it.

DON'T DO 1.5V

anything under 1.4V will be good, provided you have good cooling.

Yeah that's what I know from the 1.4 and 1.5 from somewhere. Its dangerous. I'm on aircooling.

These are the results I get.
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1641334

My settings:
CPU FSB Frequency [333]
CPU Ratio [9]
FSB/Memory Ratio [1:1.20]
Adjusted DDR Memory Frequency [799]

CPU Voltage [1.2875V]
Memory Voltage [Auto]
NB Voltage [Auto]

Since you told me to change the 333 to 400 I tried so what happened was the lowest Memory Frequency I can get is 800 and the CPU Adjusted Frequency went to 3600. It kept restarting. But I didn't change any voltages. Since I can get a 3.0Ghz on 1.2750.

Don't listen to people telling you it's unsafe.

Your Q6600 is a 4 year-old CPU anyway. How many more years do you want to keep it?

Mine has been running for 3 years @ 1.6v and I'm sure it's not the best chip out there.

In any case, going 1.6v for a day, let alone an hour or ten minutes isn't going to do anything. I've gotten mine up to 1.9v just for testing.

So, like I said, try to get the ratio down - 2:1, or 5:3.. or just keep your RAM @ 800Mhz, take the FSB to 400Mhz and the voltage to 1.6v.

Then you can work your way down from 1.6v and see where your max frequency is.

Thanks. I shall try then let you know and post the result.

Update

I made my CPU voltage 1.6 and these are the results I get with no BSoD my idle temps are below 65 unlike when it was 3.0Ghz its below 45. I don't think I can keep these settings since this is not a test. I'll be using it for gaming still. I don't have enough money buying yet.
I still can't get the ratio you are telling me. Here is the result.

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1642163

Update 2
Thank you so much. You helped me go through and I started to get better and understand everything.
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1642191

Temperature now showing me below 50 on idle not bad at all better than 1.6 at 60+ degrees on idle.

RAM showing 400 here but in the BIOS it shows 800 since that's what I set it to.

Update 3
Previous results weren't stable when I ran Intel Burn Test. I got BSoD and restarts.
I think I should stick to this..

THATS HORRIBLE

If you temps are just below 50 on IDLE then load it gonna shoot up!
You need to get better cooling.

Do not use that much voltage.

So should I stick to update 3 and lower the voltage? Did you check the image in update 3? Just making sure.
