road block: ATI can't fold

If you like blowing up everything while wearing sunglasses and carrying a bear cub up a mountain to its mother, you would buy a 5970. applaud.gif

ATI can fold, lol..

I dont know which one is better for me.

570 has better tessellation performance...

6970 has 2gb memory...

and with 6970 i can Crossfire it with another later.

Which one is better?

*Sry for my bad English wink.gif

The 6970 is a man resolution card, 1200p and higher.
The 570 is stronger at lower resolutions, funny stronger at less demanding resolutions.

PhysX, doesn't really matter, you might see 2 games released during the time the card is still relevant.
Tesellation is about as relevant as PhysX is ATM.

So 1080p get the 570
> 1080p get the 6970

The 2 cards are extremely similar

Until you get to overclocking, the 570 has more headroom than the 6970.

An extra gig of vram won't matter when the gpu can't push out enough power to fully use that amount of vram. 2gb cards are only useful for multi-screen setups at the moment, and even then, they are really only useful when multiple gpus are used.

Between the two, I would get the 570 any day. The 6970 is just too loud of a card, trust me, i've heard how loud the 6870 gets, and the 6970 is even louder.

Get the 570 unless you plan on running 3 monitors.

Are you sure it will not become important in future?
