AMDs performance in games like Lost Planet 2 or HAWX 2 is not really good...

Grunion summed it up perfectly for you..if you game at 1080p or less, get a 570, if you game higher than that get a 6970.

It's not worth buying ATI cards to fold. Frankly, they're terrible at it. My old 8800GTS easily got 5000 PPD and my 4870 struggles to get half that.

Yea. They can, that's correct, but before you buy those 4 5970s, consider an Nvidia GPU, they tend to get ... 4-5 times more ppd than a competing AMD GPU.

I would say get the 6970 especially if you want to stick with AMD cpu's and you want to crossfire as the boards don't really support SLI. and if your gaming at 1080p you definitely want ATI as they do better at higher resolutions, most of the benches they were showing are at lower resolutions than what you will be gaming at. So if you going to go look at more benchmarks make sure you look at the resolution your going to be gaming at.

But no matter what both cards will be great, I just prefer ATI, so if you prefer one brand over the other get the one your going to be happy with.

And i must forget CF!
Don't worry about CFX ot SLI. There is an SLI hack out there so you can SLI on your motherboard. Just follow the guides around here. Lots of help.

On Topic: I'd honestly stick with the 570. It's a bit cheaper and shows better performance in your resolution. why not just go for that? If you don't like the card, you can always return it and shoot for a 6970.

I don't see where the op said F@H was a necessity.

But it gives you an idea of which card is actually better for gaming when F@H has to be brought into the argument.
Kind of like ATI guys bringing up price/performance or BOINC.

Oh and Erfan. how much are the cards in question?

One other thing to consider you can buy a 6950 and potentially unlock it to a 6970. so maybe that is the way for you to go.
