Yea, you gotta be careful. It's easy to see that it's scaling right, but there are people who troll through HWbot submissions reporting anything with physx checked. Half the time they get blocked and then are later added if legit.

I'm thinking of trying out 775 for the first time. I'm going to be messing around with Core 2 Duos and Quads mostly, so I was wondering if this board would be any good for that? (I'm currently bidding on one on ebay)

Quick look on the bot, something to start with if you can't find better, but isn't a record breaker..

Thanks. It looks like it has a 1.66v limit without being modded, so I think I'll stay away from it.

Let them troll, Anyone with a brain can see by the cpu score that it was disabled

Whats up guys,

New to this HWBOT thing but loving it

So far I've got 16.7 boints with my sig rig.

But quick question. For 2D runs in wprime and pifast and the like. What is better. Tighter memory timings? Or higher memory frequency?

I've got some Dominator GT 1866MHz and with my 4.6GHz OC I can run them 7-8-7-20-1T @ 1747MHz or try running them at 13xxMHz with really tight timings (ie. 5-5-5-15-1T).

So what do you guys thing would get better results in 2D benches?

Sorry for the noob question, just wanna see what the pros here think

Hopefully I can get my hands on some more hardware to bench aswell

EDIT: Nvm, helps if I read the Benchmarking software and discussion section

Can't remember what PiFast likes, don't bench it a whole lot, but wPrime doesn't seem to care at all about memory frequency or timings. You can run 1333 8-8-8-24 or 2000 7-7-7-18 and not have any increase in wprime to show for it. All CPU. Now SuperPi, is rewarding when increasing freq and tight timings. SuperPi seems to like Freq must and timings second, but you're better off using Maxxmem and tuning for low latency and bandwidth before benching.

Thanks for the reply

I'll check out maxxmem and see what my max bandwidth and lowest timings I can acheive are

This benchmarking stuff is really addictive. Ever since I decided to get on HWBOT I've been constantly aiming for better scores. Hopefully I can get an LN2/DICE pot soon and put my 930 on DICE and see what I can do
