Hyper 212+ Trouble HELP!!

Thread Starter
Ok so i just got my 212+ and i installed it and for some reason the cooler wiggles a bit and i dont know why it s moving. I followed this guide :http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...clearance.html

I think that the little pin might be the problem. Any Help?

mine did that too.. reset the whole thing. make sure the screw nuts are tight enough too

It is supposed to swivel a little bit. Once the paste hardens, it won't move that much. This happens because the mounting pressure is at one point in the middle.

If you just put a fresh application on, no. Mine swivels a little as well, it's not a problem.

212+ has a similar issue as the Venomous-X mount. The more pressure there is in the center, the more swivel/wiggle.

If the 212+ had the same mounting kit as the Noctua D14 or Megahalems, it would not wiggle.

I didn't have any problem with mine, you sure you mounted it right and tight?
