As stated already, Lightscribe not only not worth the extra cost....it's really sketchy and overlooked after a couple of uses. I had a disk drive with Lightscribe a few years back...what a PITA which only lengthened the time of burning to disks, absolutely negating the speed at which your drive is capable of writing when used. (of course, I could always do it after the fact....but who the hell really does that?) Nice gimmick if you have the patience to wait for the outcome and I suppose it's nice to have encase you feel like fancying a disk up for a gift....but other than that, I'll stick to a label maker or permanent marker.
