Woot Woot phaedrus to the rescue. Alright then I believe your expert advice sir. OP look at the ECO (or you know the actual Seasonic 550w)

Alright if you so wish to supply only 520w effective, so be it. I'm still onboard for a nice 650w.
It's not a REBRAND. It's common knowledge that most PSU companies don't make their own PSU's. Antec is no exception, neither is Corsair. Did you know your precious Corsair units usually have Seasonic internals too?

I'd also vouche for the Antec Neo ECO 520. Solid unit, based off the Seasonic S12II platform (as Phaedrus pointed out already). And like already stated, will power any single GPU rig (GPU, not card). GTX590 (when released) and HD5970 / HD6990 would be too hard on it (dual GPU cards).

Thanks Lins. Good to see you still on the forums.

I knew that already thanks to phaedrus, Pio >_>. Corsair doesn't make anything at all. I'm wondering if Antecs HCP is really made by them too. What Seasonic unit or internal parts are used to make such a badass psu?

I don't actually. Their current 450W is a bit of a junker to be honest, though not the worst around. I forget the OEM...

Also, 90% of Corsair's current line-up is CWT. The VX450, HX650, AX750, and AX850 are their only currently available SeaSonic made units, aside from a handful of remaining TX650s mixed in with the TX650-Cs.

The CX400, HX450, HX520, HX620, and formerly the TX650 were SeaSonic as well but they're all discontinued.

Consider getting a seasonic, if you want quality and reliability, go for the Antec if you want the cheap option.

It would be a shame to have such a nice system without such a nice PSU. (hehe I have a Seasonic S12 in my system)

Ya, when Xclio first released they were in the same category as PC Power and Cooling, Antec, Seasonic etc.

I'll jump on the Antec, thanks guys!

Did CWT always make the 750TX v1?

Antec HCP series is Delta Electronics.

Antec used CWT up until 2005/6 when the TruePower II/Fuhjyyu capacitor incident ruined Antec's reputation and made them part ways with CWT. Since then they've been OEM shopping and have released units from Ehance, FSP, SeaSonic, and Delta Electronics. They've dropped FSP, mostly dropped Enhance, and are now in the process of moving to entirely Delta and SeaSonic.

TruePower New, HCG 400/520/620, and NeoECO are SeaSonic.
TruePower Quatro is Enhance
Basiq is FSP
HCP, HCG 750/900, CP, Earthwatts, Earthwatts Green, and Basiq Plus are Delta

There are more series and such, but they're discontinued.
