I like the Seasonic because even if those handle it fine what if the op OCs the gpu and CPU which could consumer more power? Better safe than sorry.

You know what? Why don't you shut up and piss off. I don't even know who you are but in my opinion you're a real POS.

You're apology is rejected.

Believe it or not people actually read them and take advice if it is backed up by concrete evidence. Shocker isn't it? We don't take things with a grain of salt then. Evidence is nice compared to just blind advice.

But on the other hand there's a lot of people on here who don't give good advice. People know I'm usually reliable, if only because I have "guru" in my user title. But then they may block out Tator or Gameboy or other people who know there stuff.

Maybe if I could certify that people know what the hell they're talking about, and they get to have a special image in their sig (like 20x100) to say they're good with PSUs...

"We"? Speak for yourself.

Honestly, you wouldn't spout comments like this if you did read his guides.

And Seasonic has a nice 550w too you know. Nothing beats it.
I'm going to be blunt, people should not recommend PSU's if they don't know what they're talking about.

You just said HURR DURR GO FOR THE ECO HURR DURR NO PROFF BUT IM COOL LOOK AT ME HURR DURR. IMO you're an ass. but thats just my opinion. good day sir, I'm not going to reply to you again. think of me what you want, I'll live.

Stay on topic people. A good debate is always good, but once it gets hateful its just not necessary.

Respect one another.

The Antec PSU was one of the first ones recommended. You were the ONLY person (at that point) recommending overkill units, which the OP stated he did NOT want. The very first post had enough evidence. The Antec Neo ECO will easily power any current single GPU card. Then you had a few people after that agreeing. How is that not enough evidence? There were also people saying that it is, in fact, a Seasonic built unit.

The only difference is that Phaedrus went into a LOT more detail about it. That's great and all, Phaedrus is awesome about knowing his PSU's. But that doesn't mean he's the ONLY person on this forum that knows what's a good unit to recommend.

Just because other people didn't give the answer that YOU think is sufficient doesn't mean they're wrong .
