Yes, disable thermal throttling. Also, up your voltage to 1.32v or so. HT should be Auto, NB should be 1.4. Tell me what CPU-z says your load voltage is.

Just tried those settings, boot fails with fsb 400, right now it is set to 374.

CPU-Z:

core voltage: 1.264

You're going to need to up your voltage enough to make CPU-Z say 1.28 or 1.3v.

Not to derail the topic but Hbliss I tried looking for a PM option but I cant find it. I have the same cpu and motherboard as you. And heres the case I have.

Right now I am at 2.8ghz, ran prime95 for 1 hour no errors and played Crysis for 2hrs no crashes. I will try again for 3ghz at 402fsb or 408fsb just to get over the hole.

Vcore: 1.232
DRAM: Auto
NB: 1.36
SB: Auto
HT: Auto
