The crappy thing is now windows takes an extra bar to load and I get a U.S. Raid services error when I load to the desktop. Man I'm choked. Any ideas how to fix the speed fan issue or the raid error? Thanks all.
First reset CMOS. Then reboot and boot into safe mode to see if all your files are okay. If you get into safe mode ok, and all your desktop icons are still there and programs, then your disk wasn't badly damaged or anything like that. Next I would right click on your hard drives, click properties, click tools, click check now under error checking. When the next window comes up, click both boxes that say "automatically fix file system errors", and " scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors."
When that is done, boot back up and see if everything is okay. If this didn't work, reboot in safe mode again and try a system restore, always worth a try.
Let me know if this doesn't work
