Ok, ive had my computer for a long time and its a p5n32 e sli and on the board it says striker extreme ?

They used the same PCB for both boards as they were very similar. There should have been a sticker over the STRIKER EXTREME logo that had P5N on it, which appears to have been pealed off of your board.

Yup those boards are "identical!" Have them both as well wink.gif

Only difference was the Striker had better cooling

Well I think I used it for a week or 2 tongue.gif then I bought the Striker 2 Formula (780 chipset) and that one was waaaay better for me!

It also fully supported my 1066MHz Dominators (no BIOS messing or OC needed. Yet)

Also the NB chip gets VERY hot on the 680! You might want to add a fan to it or aim one at it or something!

How did it OC? Can't really remember all of it, but IIRC I wasn't very very very happy you know? I was happy, but not very very...

And the 780 chipset is also gone (as in: not my main rig) and replaced with the 1155 proc wit P67 chipset and THAT's a REAL difference tongue.gif


I do remember I had my Q9450 (2.6GHz) at 3.8GHz but I guess it was on the 780...
