Anyone still have an 8800Ultra? - Page 3

I have an 8800 GTX with an Arctic Cooling Accelero on it OC'd to 648/1512/1000 which should put it around 8800 Ultra performance. The only benchmark I ever did with it vs. my new GTX 460 1GB was Fallout 3. Here's a FRAPS on the two with all in game quality settings maxed (ran from Rivet City to Megaton):

8800 GTX - Avg: 38.599 - Min: 18 - Max: 54
GTX 460 1GB - Avg: 57.374 - Min: 32 - Max: 63

The GTX 460 was at stock speeds (675/1350). Given the heat the 8800 GTX put out into the room I'm very happy with my new card!

.........The GTX 260 belongs to the 2xx series of cards not the 4-digit series.

read my previous post.

I'm running a 8800 GTX from 2007, right now. As per your post it's considerably different than the Ultra so I'm not sure if you're interested in my running benchmarks? My system is old too, stock e5500 4x1GB ddr2 (forget timing) so not sure how relevant a benchmark would be.

That's a very lucky purchase, killeraxemannic. It would be great if you can submit some benchmark screenshots for us (Crysis, Crysis Warhead, 3DMark Vantage, etc...).
