OCing my i7 860

I just recently built a new system with an i7 860 and an ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2. Im wonding how i should go about Ocing it, my asus mb supports "cpu level up", im looking to go to a 3.1 - 3.3, and just would like a start in the right direction, i have downloaded prime95 and im just waiting for some pointers / advice.

Hey Matt,

Just to ask a few clarifying questions:

What ASUS Mobo do you have? In your BIOS what are the CPU level up options listed? DO they support the clock speed increase you want? Lastly, are you adverse to doing it yourself in your BIOS? If so, why?

Automatic overclocks is not so good, motherboards set voltages high than intel specs in the most cases.

Do what Senator says, post to us your config, mobo, ram, etc...
