Damn. I don't know. I have been doing research and I cannot find anyone who is using them for anything but SB.

EDIT: The G-Skill site has the qualified motherboard list as containing P67 chipsets only, so I really don't think so. Unless of course they are trying to pull some marketing stunt.

The thing is they are definitely trying to market the ram to people who buy Sandy Bridge. Also the ram is rated to run at the lower voltage of 1.5. But that does not mean that it won't run on an AMD system. It's not like the ram can tell what board it is installed on. With proper voltage it should work fine.

Looks a lot like this ram...

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB

CL8 stuff. Even if it just runs at CL9 you probably won't find anything better in 4G sticks.

You could always contact G.Skill and see what they say.

check the manufacturer's website, it usually says what ram works best with the mobo you want.

Ram is Ram. It will work with the mobo. Look at my ram G.Sill ECO. They said Intel and I'm running them on AMD.

90% of RAM says designed for i7 or SB use. Marketing gimmick. I have never had any RAM not work as long as it was proper data rate.

^That! Buy it and run it. It's not like the ram has something inside it that detects what platform it's running on. If it gets the right voltage it will work.

Unless you're on QVL-picky motherboards such as ASUS Crosshair IV Formula, you're not going to have a problem with that RAM. Even then I'd doubt CH IV Formula would have problems with that RAM.
