Another how to OC my ram thread and questions related to ram

Thread Starter
I changed the ram frequency to 1600 in bios and now the CAS latency and others are all 11 instead of 9 like they used to be at 1333

Is this bad/ok?

Will I get better performance this way or at 1333MHz?

Specs in sig

Change those latency values manually in bios. keep 1600MHz frequency, change the other values to the following

Ok thanks, I will try that in a bit.

Is that safe for stock heat sinks?

It'd be save even if you didn't have heatsinks, trust us. Heatspreaders only start to matter at around 1.75V.

Ummm, its not quite clear from that pic which ones you did and which ones you didnt.
Anyway, apart frm frequency 800mhz all the other parameters should be at the same location. probably 'advanced memory timings' or something like that.
