Hyper 212+ to Water, need advise. - Page 2

It is enough fun to make you want to just take it apart so you can install it over and over. At least that is what it did for me. Water cooling is also addicting. I want to install a second rad, even though it would do nothing for my temps.

Just take it easy, follow the advice on these forums, and leak test with care, and all will be well.

Alright so I am thinking about ordering the XSPC Rasa 360 Kit now, is there anything else that I need to buy for the water cooling or will everything be included in the kit?

you will only need to get some distilled water, and a biocide. I use a killcoil, which can be ordered along with your kit. Where are you ordering from?

Frozen CPU since I believe it's the cheapest from there?

Then just order a killcoil along with your kit. I ordered some dead water also, but I am only using the kill coil.

The distilled water can be picked up at your local store for a few dollars. try a convenience store, or groceries store.

Cool, I am thinking about getting Feser - UV Red ( Like the idea behind non-conductive liquid in case of leaks ). Is it worth the $20? Or can I pick that up from somewhere cheaper than frozenCPU? Also do I need a corrosion blocker?

I would suggest going over to jab-tech and getting some high speed yates if you have a fan controller. You can get 4 of them for 20 bucks.

Also... I bought some biocide, and ran it in my loop during a out of case leak test. I also recommend using a hot water / 90% alcohol mixture to clean out the rad/block/tubing before assembling it for the first time.

And last but not least, the tubing that comes with the kit is pretty meh... I would suggesting getting a few feet of primochill 7/16" tubing of whatever color you desire =D

The only Feser product I like is that pure water they make, but it is crazy expensive and distilled water does just as good in terms of heat extraction.

I would suggest sticking with some distilled water and a kill coil... if your nuts a drop or two of biocide since your going going to need about a liter or so to fill that 360 loop.

You can get the colored UV if you want, but it may dye your tubing and leave gunk on your cpu block. Its ALOT easier to just get Red clear tubing and run distilled water.

Don't get coolant, just use Distilled water. If you want color, buy primochill colored tubing.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/82...?tl=g30c99s809 Would this tubing be a good alternative, also how many feet should I be getting?
