Sounds like either the monitor is bad, or the card is bad. I would RMA.

Define:Overheating. What kind of temperatures? Are you sure the card simply isn't dead and needs an RMA? Using just skype the GPU should not overheat.

im not just using skype i mean once it turns off i can still hear skype but i play battlefield badcompany, starcraft2, wow, fallout newvegas on all of these once it hits 114*c after a certain amount of hours or maxed out setting ( just to have fun ). Then it goes blank.

note:
i have kinda good cooling not the best or even close to it but ok. when playing games normal its around 77-87 on max load but when i feel like having a bit of edge and max out it just messes up T.T
