Hi and welcome to OCN.

Since you CPU is a C2 revision, you will have to work a lot for get it stable. You CPU isn't a BE, so, you need use the FSB to rise the frequency, but that also rise the DRAM frequency, NB frequency and HT frequency.

The 1st thing is disable Cool'n'quite and C1E support, after that change the DRAM ratio to the lowest possible in your BIOS, rise a little the FSB and try to keep the NB and HT frequency the most possible closest to 2000MHz.

Try too boot and download prime95, LinX, OCCT or y-cruncher, run any of those programs for 2 hours or more to check stability and don't forget keep your eyes in the temps, something above 55ºC isn't good.

Depends of frequency, maybe you can do 3.0GHz or 3.2GHz with stock voltage, but in some point if you want go higher you will need add voltage to the CPU.

925s have lately been sold on Newegg as C3 revision.
The only issue I see is the generic memory... 925 has the same 14X multiplier as the 1055T, and due to the common ref clock/CPU multiplier/memory multiplier combinations usually working best with 1600Mhz RAM if on a CPU with 14X max multi, then having generic 1333 CL9 is surely going to hold you back.

I got the same cpu in my computer. i can set it to about 3080GHZ (220x14) at stock voltage. Anything after that at it freezes at POST. but even at 210-220 when i run OCCT i get an core error in the 2nd minute. Any ideas of what im doing wrong or what i should be doing?

1066Mhz with 7-7-7 timings on DDR2?
That is worse than JEDEC spec. Either your RAM really isn't rated for 1066 or your RAM is simply extremely bad.
It's holding you back.

you mean that this CPU will work well with ram 1600 mhz.
as glegam processor CPUZ shows me that C2 what is the difference between C2 at C3.
