You don't need a big psu for that rig.
Also, you may want a better gpu.. wow is actually pretty demanding for some reason.
Get a DirectX 11 card as they added it to the games engine to help speed it up even tho, you have to add a tag to a shortcut to get it to work. There is a article about it on TomsHardware.com Link as it will show you what you want to get to try and get best experience out of your system. You will definitely want to read that article.

You did choose a great case for a first time build. I have two of them and they are great for basic builds.

I'm sure someone could do a better job building that rig, I have to get ready for class now though.
I'm guessing a 460 would be out of his price range. 4870s could be found for ~$100 about 2 months ago, I'm not sure what the situation is now. Also, if you're willing to buy used there are a lot of great deals out there.

You're going to get 3x the performance if you go with this Core i3 combo

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboB...t=Combo.591886

Add this vid card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127518

Add this dvd drive

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136177

and you'll be at $620 shipped with $30 in mail in rebates. And seriously, you'll be happy you made the changes.

a 4850 1gb is plenty for wow. biggest thing in wow is if you are going to be running at max settings is getting the 1 gb version. shadow effects take a lot of vram. a 512mb 4850 will studder at full graphics and the 1gb will tear it apart. other than that a 4850 is more than plenty for wows old code. my setup never goes below 30fps,(25man raid while everyone is aoeing), 200+ at othertimes. if your putting win7 on you will wanna do a few regestry edits inorder to drop your latency from 200ish ms. lifeandcode.net/2009/05/reduce-game-network-latency-in-windows-7-or-vista/

Okay here is a complete rig with Windows 7. You also have a chance to unlock extra cores on the processor, if you want. I dropped the AS5 and aftermarket cooler because you honestly don't need them. I'm assuming you won't be overclocking this or anything--especially for a mainly WoW rig. This rig will be plenty to smash WoW and could run other things, if you want.

Good luck on the build and it should be pretty straightforward

Oh yeah, also a $20 mail-in-rebate. I don't count them... but hey its some free cash if you send it in and wait a few weeks.

you do know that wow's changed? I cant quite max out the game on my setup to keep it from dropping too low of fps.

i definately would recomend spending the money on a 6850 or nvidia equivalent instead of getting a cpu cooler. If you dont plan on overclocking or unlocking it, i wouldnt waste the money. Even unlocking shouldnt need a aftermarket cpu cooler.
