There are a ton of routes you could go with this. Most of us here love squeezing the last little ounce of performance out of parts. If you really wanted to cut more money, I'm sure you could go with a cheaper dual-core processor/cheaper motherboard and maybe only 2gb ram and spend all the rest in an even better graphics card. It just gets difficult because for just a few small $$ more you can have a significantly more future-proof rig (even for WoW, as they update it).

Good luck with the build though

I know this is Overclock.net, but I still have to ask if you plan on OC'ing the machine. If you read that Tom's article, you will also notice AMD chips tend to require more cores and have a much lower max FPS than Intel. If you are trying to do this all on the cheap, you may even want to look at going Socket 775 since Sandy Bridge is delayed for a bit. You can check my specs, all I play on the sig rig is WoW and I get 60 fps everywhere, not sure about raids as I quit raiding at the end of Lich. WoW loves high clocks and cache. If you go AMD you need a 3-core minimum according to the Tom's review.

if you're going to use the stock cooler, it comes with paste on it, so no point in shelling out for AS5

I play wow I raid. my setup gets 120 fps now "thanks to Terraprime" constant even in 25 mans, minus in sw at about 7pm havent tested since i put dx 11 but it drops considerably
with ultra settings at 1920x1080 fullscreen, And i also tryed sli when i had 2 470's it gained 5fps the second card was being used " as told by afterburner" 5% lol the scaling is horrible but in nvidias new 166 driver it says "◦Enhances SLI profiles for the following PC games:
◦Age of Conan
◦Arcania: Gothic 4
◦Civilization V - DX11
◦Lost Planet 2
◦World Of Warcraft
But i dont have my second card anymore so i cant test it.

Nice one

Not a bad build but I would probably swap the Power supply and the Video Card.
