It looks like you chose an AMD Phenom 2 945. You should buy an i5 760. It is over 80%faster than a Phenom 2 945. Reference Guru3d i5 750 review. The Motherboard and CPU price differance is minimal at fifty-four ($54) dollars.

The Corsair CX430 PSU isn't something I would want in my machine. See if you can get a OCZ StealthXStream 500W...they can be had for cheap and are much, much better than that "thing"...that's saying a lot considering that OCZ PSUs are pretty middle-of-the-road. The 4850 is a solid choice but it's getting a little long in the tooth. For $99 after rebate you can probably snag a deal on a GTS 450.

You are very much welcome solar, as I know having high FPS during raids is a must especially in those high AOE situations. Maybe i should make a post in the software reviews thread about it so more ppl that play wow can use and get the most out of there DX11 cards.

EDIT:also update your system specs to see if anything can be reused. Added parts i would get in place of what you picked.

i5 760 is not 80% faster than P2 945. i5 760 is about 15% +/- 10% faster than P2 955.

Wrong. The CPU alone is $75 cheaper. The i5 760 is $210 while P2 940 is $135, thats $75 or almost 45% differance. AMD boards are usually slightly cheaper.

People talking wrong or **** about AMD almost makes me want to sell my rig just to prove them wrong. Amd is the only reason why Intel CPUs aren't 5 times the price they are now.

For budged, AMD is definetly the way to go, if I would mostly play games I would without a doubt settle with P2 955 and spend more on the graphic card.

Is it just me or would a ~GTX460 be overkill, I mean - for wow? My old GTX260 could max wow out on 1920x1080 with ~80fps (~60 in 25-man raids) and as far as I am aware, GTX260 is alot slower than GTX460.
Just a thought, feel free to rip my though into pieces.

Actually I think GTX460 is a great idea (although GTS450 would probably do the job), GTX460 has been the ultimate sweetspot card for the past, half year and still kicking strong.

I at least really like my GTX460, runs cool, runs quite and plenty of performance.

GTX460 is not overkill. And with WoW implementing DX11 features, it's worth it.
WoW is still very CPU limited, a faster CPU will always help, especially in busy areas like Org or SW.

That was then, this is now, Ive been playing since vanilla and i can say aloooot has changed in terms of graphics/load on cpu/gpu. Get on a populated server around 7pm and tell me wow doesnt load up your machine

And on another note, MY system is nice yes.......But it isnt a i7
If i had to redo my build bet id go intel
