Q8200 and P5E3D odd behavior at 400mhz fsb ? affecting GPU’s.

Hi there, I am having some very interesting problems lately, Somehow my cpu overclock is affecting my Dual GPU setup.

When I run a single card setup, eg. only a 480GTX and then overclock the CPU, everything runs fine.

BUT! As soon as I try to run a Dual card Setup (eg. 260GTX + 480GTX) and then overclock the CPU over 400mhz fsb, then my 480gtx disappears in windows, GPU Z and nvidia control panel.

Again, when I reset the bios/oc back to stock settings or keep it under 400fsb, the 480gtx re appears and it seems to work.

everything runs fine IF I run a single card on any of the two slots, it can then do well over 450mhz fsb. meaning the Slots, Mobo, CPu hardware are good working and it must be some wrong settings. But if I want to run two cards, then I am forced to use 400mhz fsb.

What am I missing here? maybe a few OCN gurus could help me with it.

edit: just noticed that it crashes ingame unless everything in bios is set to stock / 333 fsb
