I'm going Eye-Finity, need a lot of help. - Page 2

http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/...nk::15562.html is a Display Port (not mini DP) to DVI adapter. From the look of it, I think it should work. And, Sapphire HD6970 should come with a mini-DP to DP adapter cable. So, use that together with this adapter should be OK.

What is your total budget? I am thinking, if you have budget to get a second 6970, I would suggest using that budget to buy better monitors (eg those with IPS panel).

Here is a good read, especially the 'Final Thoughts'

It says it works for AMD Eye-Finity cards.

Well, my total budget at first is around 350€... which makes it exact for x2 more Acer H233H.

The HD6970 would come later on in future in like 1-2 months. I am not really looking to spend more, so x3 IPS monitors are not in my budget at all.

Also, you're right, I just realized that my HD6970 brings a mini-DP to Normal DP adapter.

So would the XFX DP to DVI adapter work fine on my middle Acer H233H? and the other 2 would go via DVI right?

Edit:

It says maximum resolution 1920x1200 :S Would that mean it only supports a total of 1920x1200 for the whole eye-finity setup? or 1920x1200 per monitor? my monitors would be 1920x1080 each.

Your Sapphire HD6970 outputs via its single link DVI to left monitor's DVI input.
Your Sapphire HD6970 outputs via its dual link DVI to right monitor's DVI input.
Your Sapphire HD6970 outputs via its mini DP (+the XFX DP-to-DVI) to centre monitor's DVI input.

Single link means 1920x1200 and this refers to the signal to one single monitor (not the whole Eyefinity Group).

So would that XFX active adapter work on my Acer H233H? As I am about to order it.

I cannot say that for 100% certainty.
If you can find Sapphire's adapter, use it (I am using one and it works for me).

(I know you are in Germany and I am just using Newegg's pic as a guide)

I am in Asia and I cannot use Newegg either.
Just read one line below the Newegg link and you would understand why I use that link.

I see that adapter cable listed in Sapphire's Germany website. So, perhaps you can ask Sapphire directly.

And, check all the stores here:
