6950 geared towards future games... which ones

Thread Starter
Hi i recently purchased a 6950, and it could be me being sour cause its currently in the middle of RMA, but the performance of the card is nothing amazing and i heard its geared towards future games.... so which ones, as early as crysis 2, or do they mean the end of 2011 if its end of 2011 i feel well and truly riped off, another question in the real (not benches) how does 6950 handle crysis, metro 2033, GTA IV (mine was artifacting allot on gta iv so i RMA'ed it ^^)
thanks dom

A 6870 can max out any game, a 6950 1GB is only slightly better. I don't know if you'll see any noticeable gains unless you get a 2GB and unlock it.

If you dont like the card maybe you should sell it? Or maybe buy another to get better performance? Also it could be the brand you have, which brand do u have?

The 6950/6970 really stretch their legs at higher resolutions like 2560x1600 or in Eyefinity. If you're playing at 1440x900, even a single 6850 would destroy just about every game. Hell my 6870 can max out Crysis at 1080p pretty smoothly with no AA.
