now as far as beep codes go, thats a real gamble. If you see a highend custom machine with beep codes, it could be a diamond in the rough. Some beep codes could be as simple as loose ram. You see an i7 with GTX cards in SLI, 12 gigs of ram and an SSD for 300 and a beep code, you might score big.

or its PSU could have blown and taken everything with it.
KC! (You got me)

It's true, a beep code could be something simple, but do you really want to gamble? If it's a high end computer, and it boots up, well then that would be possibly another story, possibly...

I still know why I hate sales people so much, it is because they phone you up at inconvenient times asking for your time when it is of something you don't care about. I also dislike everyone who works at any retail store that sells hardware/software because most of the time (99%) I know more about the product then they do.
I've met a lot of MicroCenter techs that are VERY knowledgeable!

Furthermore, that's not a salesperson, that's a telemarketer, big difference..

A real salesperson makes big money, those low life scumbags making calls to people are anonymous losers..

Why would I be telemarketing people if I made $50-$80,000 a year?
(Those guys make $10/hour OR MUCH LESS >> INDIA)

Well Sharp to your first statement, I'll offer you this, you don't have to be smart to be rich, not really, you can simply hire the smart people and pay them to make you rich.. (Psst, that's where they put their money, hehe)

I'm surprised you're not a Vancouver resident
I remember the huge splurge of awesome deals on Craigslist around Black Friday in Vancouver. Honestly, it was as if it was a computer store sale!

[nK]Sharp what you have to understand about a true salesman is that he can still make the sell with minimal knowledge of the product. A salesman is a people person at the end of the day. Most people who have the knowledge go direct or in our case of loving computers we go online shopping. We already know what we want and why......and if we are not mostly sure we ask someone who we know has a lot of computer knowledge and love for them. So don't be mad at the salesman for doing their job.

Looks like Craigslist for mentally challenged. Some of it is common sense, some of that stuff is creepy.
