Lmaooo at people saying side grade, 5830's are very decent cards with newer drivers...

It's the fastest card by about 10-15% so go for the 5830...

I'm leaning toward the 285 guys. I like that it is all grunt, and the cadillac of the series. I don't like how the 5830 is cut down, yet still requires as much power as a 5850. Then there is the driver issues. I can't ignore all the issues I hear about win7/5000 series.

I don't really care for DX11, and I still don't think it will be a big deal until BF3 or even later.

I'm getting that GTX285.

I haven't seen a single benchmark that shows that kind of margin between the two cards.

Read the question wrong 4870 uses about 30W less on load...
