Here's my current single target rotation:

1. Mark of Inevitability (always do this before bull rush to save you a gcd)
2. Bull Rush
3. Debilitating Strike
4. Searing Strike (Riftblade 0)
5. Strike like Iron (Paragon 2) - Increases all damage by 30%
6. Searing Strike
7. Rising Waterfall
8. Searing Strike
9. Punishing Blow (Deathblow if under 30%)

AOE:
1. Mark of Inevitability (always do this before bull rush to save you a gcd)
2. Bull Rush
3. Debilitating Strike
4. Mighty Blow
5. Strike like Iron
6. Mighty Blow
7. Mighty Blow
8. Mighty Blow
9. Bladefury

These rotations are if no other abilities proc. I ALWAYS hit my procs as soon as they come up in an attempt to have them proc more often and plus since they're off the gcd, they're free attacks. Great way to string attacks together.

These are my current proc abilities (in order of proc chance):
1. Frenzied Strike
2. Turn the Blade
3. Inescapable Fury
Looks good however I am currently DW. I learned alot from your post and as soon as I get on later I will switch out my rotation...

However what is a proc?
Also, how can I change souls from paly to riftblade? I think I am going to DW with champion/paragon/rift... What do you think? Do I have to create a new character to re-spec?

I havn't run across any good 2 handers only DW... which is the reason for using it. +rep for your awesome post!

Oh if you're dual weilding than yes you can be using any dual weilding abilities instead of the champion abilities although you could do some testing to see which does more dmg as i'm not sure if Power Strike would hit with both weapons or just one.

A proc is essentially a chance of something (procedure) happening. In this particular case i'm speaking about abilities that are triggered by a certain event such as Frenzied Strike which only becomes available after a critical strike. So when i say "when Frenzied Strike procs", I mean when Frenzied Strike becomes available due to having just landed a crit.

You can change your souls at any time, just speak with any Warrior trainer and choose the "Reset my Souls" option. It's not too expensive. As long as you have not spent any points in a soul, you can swap them at will. From there just click on the Paladin icon and it will give you options for other available souls that you have.

Remember that the game starts you with 3 souls but to acquire the other 5 you must complete quests which are available in Meridian. They're really easy quests but only 1 can be active at one time. So complete one and choose the next and rinse and repeat.

try not to make yourself a one trick pony though folks. Its not hard to blend in some support skills into your build with minimal effort and it will benefit your group way more than just straight up DPS will.

The game has so many abilities and buffs, debuffs, shields. Just massive amounts of group benefiting skills that focusing on just 1 aspect of the game, whether its tanking, healing, or dps is kind of silly, when you can bring more to the table with just a slight loss of what your main build is.

I tend to disagree. Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying the game and the class system is pretty cool and all. However I gauruntee you that once the majoity of players reach end game it'll be just like WoW and there will be multiple sites posting up the absolute best spec for each and every class dps, tank and heal wise.

This is important b/c it will basically throw out all the other "options" you can use as pointless.

As for myself, I will skip those extra little "buffs" and go for the best pure straight damage build possible. That imo will help any group I am in more then a silly buff that lasts 15 seconds.

I appologize if you were not trying to sound rude but honestly I have to ask. Do you have a max level toon already? I also assume you have 4 other buddies who are max level as well. What about raids? Do you have 10 or 20 others who are all max level. I only ask b/c you stated that I would simply fail and that those little buffs make all the difference.

I'm not trying to say that you should avoid all buffs, I'm simply saying that in my opinion a ton of those skills are going to end up being ignored.

No matter how you make your mmo, if there are choices to be made and specs to chose then there will always be that one spec that pure numbers wise will always = the most dps.

Am I saying you should always go by that and not try to spec into something more fun? No, I'm not saying that at all. I'm simply saying that for me the most fun is copying what is proven to push the most dps.

I fail to see how having 5 jack of all trades but masters of none in a group could perform better then a group with 5 masters of one thing.
