No you should get your mount and pet as soon as you get out of the starter area and find a mailbox. Then Click on the mount and pet to move it to their respective categories. Find the skills in those categories and bam you've got your stuff.

More healing is generally always the rule from what I have found. Especially in open environment stuff. Carefully planned end game raids yeah I am sure it is not quite so simple as more healing.

Overall I don't care I love the game. For the first time in an mmo the leveling doesn't feel like a total grind. I mean most mmo's it is hurry up and get to cap so you can do something interesting. Rift breaks that mold for me. There is always something fun to do and man the artifact sets, achievements and puzzles keep me plenty occupied.

There is some things that the game lacks like character customization but I can overlook that due to the fun factor and how smooth it plays even with 100 people blowing up a boss.

The soul system I think is amazing. Being able to make different roles and customize them with different combinations of souls makes your toon super versatile. For example my cleric I have a solo build and a completely healing oriented build. Working on a tanking build when I get the money to purchase the slot. Even after you can have the points reset fairly cheaply and start over. Pure win!

So anyone else on here play on faeblight?

Huh wonder if it is something on the defiant side then. Will have to check one my defiant characters to be sure. But on my guardian ones, and I just rolled a new one today it worked as soon as I got to a mailbox and picked the little thing up.

harbinger of Regulos far more epic though. Love it!!

Maybe they changed it by patch or somthing, When I started thats how it was on both gaurdian and defiant sides, but with all the patches it quite possibly could have changed

Hey guys, just wondering, does anyone know where to find the collector's edition items? I have the backpack bonus, and I know I don't get the mount until level 20, but where's my gorram pet? tongue.gif

There was/is a bug where some people with the collectors edition didn't receive all the items they were supposed to. You need to fill out a support ticket in game and they will fix it for you.

How many people here were WoW gamers and has this game been able to pull you away?

I would love a WoW replacement but unfortunately I have been with WoW since Beta times and no matter how many different games I have tried I always end up coming back...HELP!

WoW has this game beat in everything except Rift's "dynamic (not really) content" and soul trees. WoW combat is much smoother and BGs are better designed.

I'd stick to WoW until more content is released for Rift. I'm absolutely bored of it.
