I see where you got confused rune. It is not like a CPU on this GPU. There is only the GPU on the card nothing surrounding it.

*MCW60 fits over the stock plate on the GTX470 too, so you only have to remove the cooler and not the framing..helpful considering the 470's base-plate provides cooling for memory at least. The factory G200 plate fits directly into the holes on the 470's too, so no modification is required for bolt-up or clearance.

I did notice one big hole with your OP, op.. this is A NON REFERENCE CARD! I had purchased one back in the day with best buy, and also a gtx 460 full cover waterblock for reference cards, and because of the position of the voltage inputs, the waterblock wouldnt fit. I have since gotten a MSI 460, which is indeed a reference card, and I can show you the differences between the 2 if you would like to know, just ask

Why can't I take the shroud off my Galaxy GTX 460...

If you got the screws shown on the photos you should be able to. It won't come off easily. Use cautionary force and take it off. Just go slowly.
