People who are new... telling them to enter into driver madness on top of adding a new card in is just inviting them to come back and make another thread: AMD driver sucks, xxxxx.

OP doesn't need a new driver, he just needs help installing a card. Maybe once it's in and peachy, if he wants to venture into driver upgrades, so be it.

Don't use DriverSweeper. AMD have said themselves to not use it on their drivers it could screw stuff up more so or just screw up.

Just whack the second card in and add the bridge. It will bring up the crossfire enabling window automatically upon starting windows.

I did pretty much did exactly this ^ and every thing seems to be working beautifully. I'm at work so I havn't had the chance to game on it yet but I did run the heaven bench mark to compare results. And I must say, I'm very please with the HUGE increase of FPS just from Heaven. Can't wait to go home and game!!!!!! Thank you everyone for all the help!

wow amazing results.

I still think you should run 11.1a drivers, they are supposed to improve 6xxx cards and Heaven benchmark greatly.

I did run into a little problem though. After installing the 2nd 6870 any time I hit apply within MSI Afterburner, I would get the BSOD. Before I even searched, I un/re-installed and AB is working again. Other than that scary but minor issue, I am very pleased.
