Best news in a decade.

With the release of 64 Bit Adobe Flash Player, there are no more excuses not to develop a native 64 Bit web browser build.

They haven't even released Firefox 4 yet. And they are talking about Firefox 5 already?

I know! Jeez..

"Best news in a decade." really? If they have native 64 bit support on FF 4 instead, then it is best news.

if i have this right people, you guys think how does this affect you, well with a 64 bit browser you can do a lot more and the browser can utilise all the computers resources allowing for browser based gaming without all the limitations of something like 32 bit java /flash.

It's not anything new, companies have always started working on the next lineup of something right when something is about to/when something is released.

Besides, I'm pretty sure Firefox Beta 10 is the last beta version. It better be, there are no problems I heard except for the Hotmail issues to users.

Seems like a mute point truly...

Or does the browser need to allocate larger than 32 bit integers/floats/strings?

Nevertheless, what are we talking about here 0.2 seconds faster?
