Compressed Air

Thread Starter
I am looking for compressed air to clean out any dust from the heatsink, fan and drives etc. I found a product online that is compressed air, but I noticed its also flammable.
Is that OK? I assume its flammable as its one of the components that allow for liquefied gas etc, but I just wanted to make sure that this is fine to use. Putting together something thats flammable into my laptop doesn't sound like a great idea!
Sorry for the n00b question!
Thanks

Most, if not all, are flammable. Instead of spending money constantly buying cans, you should look at getting one of these: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Metro-Vacuum-ED500-500-Watt-Electric/dp/B001J4ZOAW"]DataVac[/ame] Does a great job

Get this if you intend to dust frequently. It pays back for itself after several cans of air.

Don't dust off your components while your machine is on. Also, there's tons of other canned air flammable or not. Just use something not flammable.

Seeing as how his post is a mere 2 minutes max from when you posted yours... I would assume he was writing up his post before you even made yours, so he couldn't have known. It's nothing to get upset over though.

Thanks for all you suggestions.
I dont intend to do this too often - this is the first time I shall be doing it in 3 years since I got this laptop!
I reckon the cans are therefore good, rather than that machine!
So I assume flammable is no problem then, correct?

I've never had compressed air go up in flames on me.
