Thats probably what they were going for...

For all of you who dont like UAVs, there can be a pilot behind the controls hundreds of miles away if need be...

What KBcobra is true...

The computer does most of the work for the pilot. He just has to just make decisions upon what the computer is asking.

Wow, if this is what they release to the public, think of what they actually have flying around up there.

ugh....I see the business of killing people hasn't slowed down. But yet there's a family about to loose there house after being denied a loan modification.

keep up the good work guys, maybe one day we'll be able to have Sidewinder missiles as the 6th food group.....

Unmanned craft save weight, and are able to do crazier maneuvers that would kill a live pilot. And not needing a transparent canopy helps stealth IIRC.

While you can't put a cost on human lives, each and every troop has to have a weapon to use...

Will design performance gains outweigh the need for a real pilot on board?

Can a plane remote controlled by an expert be properly flown & be effective in combat?

The whole idea of a pilot-less jet seems like a bad idea, what do you think?

It's only going to be so long before the poor rise up to revolt in anger against the rich governments for wasting their money and the uncaring, unwavering, and heartless treatment they have been served for many years...

They will rise in revolt, maybe from hunger, maybe from lack of education, who knows, but they will rise eventually.. (They are doing so today all over the world..)

The only thing is, with a weapon like this, someone could wipe hundreds of thousands of those poor protesters off the map, and they wouldn't even know what hit them, sadly enough...

"What's that sound?" *looks up* The end is near...

=====================================

I'd buy one of these, just because I'd also have all the control in the world too!!!! Who cares if the poor & uneducated didn't like it...

I'd just send my un-manned stealth bomber (which has enough fuel to make the trip) to end it, fast...

At the altitude this thing would be flying at you might as well call it invisible...

(edited)

How many weapons can you raise before the world panics?

Just to point that out... they would never send a Jet out in bad weather unless its 100% crucial and worth to National Security...

If so, they could always send a C-130 if that will do the job since it can be at a very high altitude and not be locked on my Stingers/some low grade AA
