Problem with watercooling

Thread Starter
My friend just got into water cooling and I installed his for him. He got the Rasa 750 rs 360 kit and I put it in and we started overclocking it and it runs great at 4 ghz at 1.22v at 38c idle and load temps are 60c. Now the thing I see weird (correct me if I am wrong ) but we got to 4.4 ghz ht on and the load temps shot up to 82c at 1.4v with idle at 41c. This is a cpu only loop for now so is this what to expect from this ?

I washed everything out with distilled water and vinegar before I used it and rinsed it out really good and I made sure to get all the bubbles out after about 2 days and even reseated the water block thinking it might be an issue. I used as5 paste 1st then used ic diamond 7 when I reseated the block and got 79c at 4.4 ghz.

What are your thoughts ?

I have a setup I parted together of my own and hope the parts I put together performs better than this and here is my parts I want.

Those temperatures are definitely high, I think you get closer to 70C load at 4.4. What is his ambient temperature?

BUMP

Anyone have any ideas ? Can this be normal for 1.4v to jump this much in temps ? If yes can there be a way to lower the temps a bit

Those temps seem right for 1.4v with HT on. You could lower the temps another couple degrees with better fans, but other than that nothing much you could do (beside more rad).

Will I see a decent decrease in temps over the Rasa RS360 with the parts listed in the link below ?
