Loop for stock i7 + 580

Thread Starter
Specs in sig.

Would a 240 rad be enough for a pretty much stock i7 860(a very slight OC at the most) plus a 900+mhz 580? All of this is going into my sig case so a 360 rad is out of the question. Would the Rasa kit plus a 580 block be enough? Thanks.

Why bother? There is no need for anything other than the stock cooler for the cpu and the same for the gpu.

You are going to want to go 4/2Ghz plus to make going water worth it.

You guys both need to realize that some people like really really quiet computers, and water cooling provides that. Answer with a proper answer regarding the question being asked, dont go and troll him when its unnecessary.

I'm also wondering the same thing about a 580 overclocked past 900mhz, and an i5 with HT at 4ghz..

This is still my favorite starter kit except the hose is not very good. Replace it with some Tygon and compression fittings and it's not bad for starters.
