"Display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered" - Page 2

It's very possible that my PSU isn't giving off enough power. I'm using some crappy 350W HIPRO psu that came with my OEM computer (dunno if anyone has even heard of that brand). The label on it claims to be of 350W.

Is there any way to test this? I live in a college dorm, without any special equipment or anything.

Open the case and check it out.

If it was from some reputable company, then one could write it off. but its local plus I'm assuming your computer is old? yes?

I get this problem with my ATI Radeon HD 5850, too. But my power supply is an Antec Earthwatts 750w and I'm not even running any multi-card setup.

I get the problem when I run a ton of processes such as multiple games at once.

At the moment, I don't think there's any way for me to test my psu. Looks like my only option is to RMA it.
